By donating your time, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that visitors of all ages can learn, explore, and connect with New London’s rich heritage. Plus, volunteering is a great way to meet new people, develop skills, and make a positive impact in your community.
Opportunities for Volunteers
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities to match your interests and availability. Some of the roles include:
Museum Sitters: a great chance to get to know the museum and its guests. Occasionally, we need help taking care of the museum and greeting guests. If you have a bit more time to commit, this is a great opportunity for you! Some training is involved.
Educational Programming: Teaching, sharing, or helping. If you enjoy working with
students, adults, and/or families, then join us as an educational volunteer as we help our community discover new things. Programs take place at the museum as well as other locations around the area. Some training may be involved depending on the
program.
Special Event Volunteer: Don’t have much time, but still want to get involved? This is perfect for you. We always need some extra hands for our events. This is a flexible, fun way to be involved, even when you don’t have much time!
