New Curiosity Corner is Open. Winter on the Wolf!

Come discover something new in our latest Curiosity Corner. How well do you know the Wolf River and what happens to it in the winter? Find out what happens to the fish, amphibians, and mammals that live in or near the river when it freezes in the winter.

The Curiosity Corner is sponsored by the Friends of the New London Public Museum, thank you!

Printed words Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities, and organizations to encourage philanthropy and generosity worldwide. It is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to give back in impactful ways. Thanks to matching gift pledges from a few generous FNLPM members, qualifying donations will be matched when received or postmarked by Monday, Dec. 8th. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!

Visit the museum Dec. 5th-14th and locate Elfie. He is sneaky and moves around every night, so he will be in a new location every day! Don't touch Elfie!! Just take a fun Selfie with Elfie. Post your selfie on Facebook, use the hashtag #selfiewithelfie, tag the New London Public Museum and New London Area Chamber of Commerce for a chance to win prizes from the Chamber and the Museum!
