New Curiosity Corner! Climate Change:

Come discover something new in our latest Curiosity Corner. The new corner is about Climate Change and the environment. Learn what climate change is, and what you can do to help slow down human's negative impact on the environment. Fun, hands-on activities and experiments while learning.

Games on the Green: Taskmaster

Aug 7 ~ 10:30am-11:30am

The Muse's annual Games on Green will be Friday, Aug 7th! This year's games will feature a Taskmaster Theme of unique and silly challenges. Have fun while showing off your creativity!

Save the Storms:
Volunteers needed for storm window workshop!

Oct 9, 10 & 11 ~ 8am-5pm

We NEED your help to save the Carnegie Library storm Windows! Learn a new skill, meet new people, be a part of the museum's volunteer team, and preserve a part of YOUR history. Work with Bob Yapp, nationally known historic preservationist.

Registration is $100 or $50 for FNLPM members.
This cost covers all materials, PPEs, lunch, water, and snacks. Tolls will be provided to use during the workshop.

Current Opportunity: Museum Sitters
~ Help keep the doors open
~ Help greet guests, answer simple questions, direct guests to staff, and provide everyone with a welcoming atmosphere
~ Help with projects, tours, and events
~ 2 or more shifts per month, 3.5 hours per shift, Tues-Sat
