The purpose of the New London Public Museum is to preserve and promote our community’s natural, native and historical culture for the benefit of the public.
What's Happening at the Muse?
Volunteer Training: Museum Sitters Jan 17, 9am-10am & Jan 27, 4pm-5pm
What we need: Help in keeping the doors open; guest services by greeting guests, answering questions, providing a welcoming atmosphere for everyone; help with projects, tours, and events; 2 or more shifts per month 3.5 hours each, Tuesday-Saturday.
What you get: Meet new people; training and support; use of wi-fi for remote worksite while volunterring; become part of a dynamic volunteer community; an insider look at the museum expansion.
