Ongoing Exhibits

Journey through time and nature as you stroll around the museum’s exhibits, from rocks and minerals to birds and animals, our Natural History section is full of specimens, including some you will never see in the wild.

 Interested in the people of our area, start by exploring the First Nations of Wisconsin from Paleo-Indian to our modern nations, then move through time and learn about the history of New London in our Local and Military History sections.

Temporary Exhibits

Life in New London: Photos from the Plyoneer
The American Plywood Corporation existed in New London from 1919 to 1983. In the 1940s and 1950s, Harry Heinrich, published the Plyoneer, a company newsletter. He took photos around our community. He donated over 700 negatives to the museum. For years, these sat in the archives. With a generous grant from the Friends of the New London Public Museum, the negatives have been scanned and properly stored. We are working to make these images accessible, currently in a rotating exhibit that will run through 2026. We will change photos throughout the year, so there will always be a chance to Discover Something New!
